MB-1 Wireless FAQs

What does the light on the MB-1 transmitter mean?
The status light tells you whether the transmitter is on and gives a quick indication of battery condition.

A green light indicates normal operation, while a red light indicates the battery is low or charging.

For full details, see the Owner’s Guide.
How do I adjust the signal range?
You can adjust the signal range using the control knob on the back of the transmitter.

Turn the knob toward “+” or “Max” to increase the range, and toward “−” or “Min” to decrease it.

Avoid placing the transmitter near large metal objects, as this can affect performance.
What is the signal range of the MB-1?
The MB-1 can create an adjustable signal field ranging from approximately 4 to 8 feet in diameter.

The exact range depends on your settings. See the Owner’s Guide for more details.
How long does the MB-1 battery stay charged?
Battery life depends on both the range and rate settings.

At maximum range, the battery typically lasts:

Fast: about 4 days
Medium: about 7 days
Slow: up to 30 days

Reducing the range will increase battery life. For more details, see the Owner’s Guide.

MB-2 Dual Function FAQs

What does the light on the MB-2 Dual Function transmitter mean?
The status light indicates whether the transmitter is on and sending a signal.

When the unit is on, the light will be green. Depending on the frequency setting, the green light may be steady or blinking.

When using a boundary wire, the light will only stay green if there is a complete continuous signal loop.

When the unit is turned off, a red light appears briefly as the transmitter powers down.

For full details, see the Owner’s Guide.
How do I adjust the signal range on the MB-2 Dual Function?
You can adjust the signal range using the control knob on the back of the transmitter.

Turn the knob toward “Max” to increase the range and create a larger signal field, or toward “Min” to decrease the range and create a smaller signal field.

Always test the signal field and place the training flags before allowing your pet near the area.
What is the signal range of the MB-2 Dual Function?
The MB-2 Dual Function can be adjusted to create an avoidance area ranging from approximately 18 inches up to 13 feet in diameter.

When used without an attached wire, the maximum signal range is up to about 6.5 feet in all directions from the center of the transmitter.

Actual range may vary depending on placement and surrounding materials. See the Owner’s Guide for more details.
Can the MB-2 Dual Function be used outdoors?
The MB-2 Dual Function is best used indoors or in other dry, protected areas.

It should not be exposed directly to rain, snow, or moisture.

If you need a full outdoor pet containment solution, a wired underground system is usually the better choice.
